What to do when you get smurf hands?!?!?!?

 First step is - DON'T FREAK OUT! (I may have, just a little....)

Ok, so i was so excited to get my very first Wet n Wilds sent to me from the US. When i tried Teal of Fortune it looked amazing. 

Now i got super frustrated because EVERY picture i took turned out blue..... It is a teal green...... So annoying.......

See the green/teal look in the middle of the bottle in the picture below? That's as close as i could get.....

 So now i wanted to try something else on....... 20 mins of scrubbing with remover, 10 mins scrubbing with dish washing liquid mixed with sugar (it hurts after a while...), and countless times washing with soap and a nail brush......... I was left with this..........

SMURF HANDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to cry....... But as i was taking my waterproof mascara off, i thought i would try my eye makeup remover (the ones with the 2 different liquids that you have to shake together) with my hands
, and it worked :) My nails were still a bit blue, and all my hangnails look really blue and even more ripped from all the scrubbing earlier, but my skin was stain free!!!!!

So in the in can i say that Wet n Wild - Teal of Fortune was worth the smurf hands????? I don't think so :( I loved the colour so much, but the staining is just nuts. I have NEVER had this happen before. I hope it never will again :)

Essence You Rock Collection - LOVE, PEACE, AND PURPLE

This really caught my eye in the store when it came out ages ago. I loved all the purple shimmer in it.
However it sadly didn't transfer onto the nail so well..... or at all....... :( It looked mostly like poo on my nails, with a hint of purple shimmer at just the right angle..... Another failed mani.......

Face Of Australia - Barbados - Bright Lights, Pink City

Another amazing colour from the Barbados LE Collection from Face Of Australia. This time its Bright Lights, Pink City. Its an amazing, almost fluro pink. With a stunning golden shimmer throughout. It took 3 coats and i can still see a bit of VNL. But that does not bother me at all. This polish reminds a bit of Butter Londons Trout Pout because it looks very different depending on the type of lighting.
This is closest to its true colour. In the shade outside.

This picture is just out of the sunlight outside. A bit washed out, but that shimmer is stunning :)

This last picture is in full sunlight. It looks a little more fluro IRL.

Essence - Vampire's Love - 04 The Dawn Is Broken - Nail Polish Swatches

I almost didnt get this one, but i caved (as i so often do). I have never worn a grey polish before, so i had no idea what this would look like on...... This polish is pure beauty in a bottle. One of my favourite polishes to date. I cant get over how great this looked on my nails :)

Orly - Bailamos

I passes this polish up a few times...... But this other day i was walking past it, and i just caved >.<  So glad i did though, cause this is so pretty. Such a bright summer colour :) I love all the shimmer in it! This is 2 beautiful coats of Orly Bailamos.

Glossy Blossom in Emerald Green

This is a really beautiful green polish with some kind of blue micro glitter, or shimmer, or something like that. It really is a beatiful colour :) I got it from Morning Glory. I think they are $4 each, or 2 for $6.

Ugh, i tried like mad to get a picture to show all the amazing blueness hiding in this polish, but my 5mp phone camera just doesnt cut it.... ugh..... I am hoping 'Santa' got the hint that i want a camera this year :)
