Chi Chi - Crystal Top Coat - Its a Flakie!

I could not believe my eyes when i walked into a Gloss store and saw this amazing beauty sitting there :) An Australian brand FLAKIE! My jaw hit the floor! We have had crazy summer rain here the last week, so no sun for this picture :( It was also super muggy, so my nail polish just refuses to dry :( But it still gives you an idea of what it looks like. Here is 2 coats of Chi Chi Crystal Top Coat over 2 coats of China Glaze Liquid Leather.

My pics dont even begin to so how wonderful Lorelei's Tiara looks in person. Im still trying to figure out how to get the best from my new camera. So the next time i wear this polish i shall try to get some better pics.

Haul - China Glaze, Orly, Essence

I have gone a little nuts with nail polish shopping the last week or so...... But they are so shiny, and sparkly, and PRETTY..... Gah! Must take a moment to breath :P

First off i found an amazing place that sells China Glaze, OPI, and Color Club :)

I have swatched Lorelei's Tiara, and i am IN LOVE! By far the most amazing glitter i have ever worn!!!!! I now have to decide what i am going to wear next..... So many choices.... Ahh....... *Head Explodes*

China Glaze - Heaven

Not something i always go for, but it looks so pretty in the bottle :) But when i put it on last night it made my nails look sick, bleh! Was gonna take it off, but thought i would take some pics in the morning for reference. Now im looking at it in daylight, i kinda like it. Thinking it would look good with some nail art stickers, maybe flowers or something like that :) However this took AGES to dry, even after applying Out The Door top coat :(

China Glaze Crackle in Black Mesh over B Collection by Bloom in Rio

I felt inspired by a recent post by Nihrida - www.nihrida.com - Loving her blog right now :)
I used China Glaze Crackle in Black Mesh over B Collection by Bloom in Rio. Great combo in theory, but i had alot of things go wrong here :(

This was the first time using Rio. I thought it would be a nice bright 'summer' type of red, as it isn't a true red, it is a bit more orange/coral looking. As soon as i started putting it on i knew this was gonna be crappy. It was so runny! It went everywhere :( I had no control at all. But it was opaque in one coat, and i was going to go over it with the crackle anyway. I waited about 20mins, and it felt dry, so i started to put the crackle over..... It didnt crack well at all. Then to top it off it pulled some of the colour away, leaving it looking patchy, ugh!

Its blury, but you can see where it has pulled the colour away. Also the crappy cracking.......
Well as much as i hated it to start with, it's kinda growing on me :) Might try this one again with a different red.

Sally Hansen HD in Digital with China Glaze Crackle in Crushed Candy

I loved this look! I started by just wanting to have just Sally Hansen HD in Digital on my nails, a beautiful bright pink...... But it stinks! It really is yuck, bleh :( So i tried to hide the smell by putting on my China Glaze Crackle in Crushed Candy, a light blue. It didnt help cover the smell, but it looked amazing.
